Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale - you have to visit iconic Beale Street while you are in Memphis! We suggest going during the day since it can get a little rowdy at night. Check out live music (BB Kings, Rum Boogie Cafe, Jerry Lee Lewis), enjoy a cocktail outside (Silky O'Sullivan's or Alfred's), and watch the Beale Street flippers if you get the chance!
Check out Kelsey's work first hand! Over 12 miles of the Wolf River Greenway are open to date, and this section is closest to downtown. Take a walk or run, enjoy the bike rentals, and soak up one of the best Memphis sunsets - where the Wolf River meets the Mississippi River.
One of the nation's premier heritage and cultural museums, chronicling the American Civil Rights Movement and exploring how this significant era continues to shape equality and freedom globally today. Plan to spend a few hours at this impactful museum in downtown Memphis. Walkable from the hotel block.
This gorgeous, historic hotel downtown is known for the march of the Peabody Ducks! For our Carolina friends, this is Roy Williams' favorite part about Memphis! Enjoy a cocktail in the beautiful lobby and watch the duck march. Make sure to arrive early for a good spot! The Peabody Ducks march at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
One of our favorite burger (well I guess technically sliders) places! The location on Peabody in Midtown Memphis is our favorite - lots of outdoor seating. Mix and match some great sliders and try the Jameson slushy! There is also a new location downtown near the hotel block that is great as well.
