No, this venue isn't near any amenities (30 minutes to the nearest general store). We will be providing food and drinks for everyone throughout your stay. This is why it's important that you RSVP to each of the events you and your party will be attending. If you have dietary restrictions, please bring what you need to survive :)
We adore your little ones and can’t wait to celebrate with the whole family! Our venue is surrounded by nature — including a lake, wildlife, and uneven ground — so for everyone’s safety (especially the kiddos!), we kindly ask that children be supervised at all times.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted for guests. The venue allows dogs on site only for the bride and groom.
Do you allow campfires? -Yes, in designated spots only & only if weather allows Do we need to bring firewood? -NO Is the lake swimmable? -YES Are there bears? -Yes, but they are wild bears, not trash bears. They don’t bother us Can we fish in the lake? -Yes, catch & release please Do you know if other guests have rented RVs, and if so, are there places nearby? -Yes & yes Do the camp sites include running water? Fire pits? Electricity? -No, no fires or cooking in the camping area unless they are in an RV. NO fires except in our fire pits. All dry camping. There are no hookups for RV's onsite. We recommend you bring a generator if you're needing electricity.
There will be a shuttle at the Kirkwood Lodge that runs every hour on our wedding day from 1 PM- 1 AM. All outside transportation should be at the guests discretion!
