Join us on Saturday afternoon from 12:00-2:00 to catch some Arizona Sunshine at the resort pool!
A Tucson classic is to drive up Mount Lemmon. The full drive up takes about 45 minutes (one way) and as you go through various elevations, the wildlife completely changes from desert saguaros to a full high elevation forest. If you go, make sure to stop at the Windy Vista Point lookout for absolutely breathtaking views! Be sure to download the UA's Mount Lemmon Science Tour podcast to listen to while you drive up. This app is timed to be like a virtual tour guide pointing out landmarks and eco-zones as you ascend. We've done this drive multiple times and absolutely love it!
We love the Tucson mountains, saguaros, and natural views that Sabino Canyon has to offer- especially in the spring! There are many trail heads from the actual resort grounds, but we love the Sabino Canyon trailhead because there are many routes from extremely easy, paved, and family friendly to advanced and challenging!
This downtown path takes you to 23 historic stops, buildings, and neighborhoods telling amazing stories of Tucson history and its early inhabitants along the way. (Added bonus- it will take you right by our downtown apartment!) The tour starts and ends at the Presidio San Augustin De Tucson Museum and the full loop is 2.5 miles. Just follow the green line painted on the downtown sidewalks!
