We recommend flying into the Madrid airport (Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport MAD)
From the airport, there are several transportation options to Toledo depending on your preference. The best and easiest way is by using the bullet train which is also the quickest. However, if you prefer alternatives there are taxis/uber (expensive), or rental car. Of note- if you rent a rental car it is not drivable inside city center of Toledo, you will have to park in a communal parking lot on the edge of the city and then use Taxi's to get around once in the city.
