We met the good old fashioned way..ONLINE! Kelsey had just moved to Tulsa and figured that it was worth a shot trying to meet someone online. Tylor was on the site for 1 day before Kelsey messaged him. Her pick up line? "I like your dog!" Go Nikki! They talked for a few days before Tylor asked her out for that Friday night, they went to AllStar Sports for Mini Golf, then went and got sno cones from Josh's. That was supposed to be the end of the date, but they ended up driving around to different parks for hours! The date ended up lasting for 8 hours!
Kelsey's Perspective: Tylor planned a series of dates over a few weeks to throw me off. We went to a beautiful dinner at The Hemingway, the weekend before and I thought he was going to do it there...my outfit was SO GOOD! The week of the proposal he mentioned going to dinner with Ryan and Kayleigh at this mexican place downtown, I didn't think anything of it. Once dinner was over, Tylor was talking about wanting to find something else to do in that area because we don't get down there that often, and Ryan mentioned Welltown Brewery! We "thought" about it for awhile and actual sat in the truck trying to find places to go for 30 minutes! Really that part was Tylor stalling. The plan was to go to Welltown and rent one of their rooftop igloos. When we got there we got a drink and Tylor said that he thought there was another section of the rooftop and he wanted to look at it. He opened this hidden door and there was the most beautiful greenery tunnel with twinkle lights. I froze almost immediately because I saw my best friend, Allie. Tylor gently nudged me forwards and we were on our own private rooftop with a cozy greenhouse, twinkle lights everywhere, and the Oklahoma sunset in the background. After the most amazing moment of my life, Tylor drove us to Ryan and Kayleigh's house where our friends and family were at, ready to celebrate!
