On a snowy day at Assumption back in 2010, the pair unknowingly snapped a photo together as strangers at a party. Little did they know, this seemingly innocent photo would be the first chapter of a love story that would take…well, a few years to unfold. Fast forward to 2015, when Quinton and Kelsey ended up working together at the same firm in different departments. Naturally, they spent a lot of time together and Quinton, ever persistent, asked Kelsey out nearly every day for the next two years. In 2021, he decided to try his charm again and the two started working out together at the office gym during busy season. Through sweat, laughter, and the occasional grumbling about deadlines, their friendship grew stronger. But it wasn’t until one late Sunday night, when Kels was burning the midnight oil at the office, that Quint convinced her to grab a drink. It was the start of something magical – because what started as a friendship began to naturally turn into something more. Suddenly, they found themselves laughing at the smallest things and enjoying each other's company more than anything else. But, of course, they were still coworkers, and they kept their budding romance under wraps, avoiding each other at work. Their first "real" date was a glassblowing class and from there, their adventures only grew – and so did their love for trying new things together. Kelsey’s favorite thing about Quinton is his spontaneity and that he’s never afraid to step out of his comfort zone. Whether it’s visiting every zoo she can find, walking 20 miles a day through Italy, or just taking on whatever crazy challenge comes their way, they’re always up for it together, with plenty of laughter along the way. Quinton’s favorite thing about Kelsey is her playful sense of humor, her kind and caring heart, and her incredible work ethic. She always brings so much joy to others while giving her best in everything she does. On July 27th, Quinton carefully planned an epic proposal filled with surprises at every turn. The weekend began with a Yankee game on Friday, followed by a fun Saturday in the Seaport, and a delicious steak dinner. The real surprise came during a sunset stroll along the scenic waterfront, where Quinton got down on one knee and asked Kelsey the biggest question of their lives. Moments later, Kelsey heard a few familiar voices - he had arranged for both of their parents to travel there for the special moment. He even hired a photographer (shout out to Tara!) to capture the magical moment, ensuring that every emotion and every smile would be preserved forever. The night ended with a surprise party at Nightshift Brewery, where some of their closest family and friends were waiting to celebrate the next chapter of their lives. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the kind of memories that would last a lifetime. Since that unforgettable weekend last July, they've moved in together, shared even more adventures, and are beyond excited for the journey ahead.
