Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Tim Reimer and Kelsea Noone
If you're looking for some touristy fun or want some intel on the hidden gem spots, we've got you covered! Feel free to reach out to us with questions or check out our recommendations below.
DMK Burger Bar

DMK Burger Bar

2954 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL 60657
, (773) 360-8686

Go out to eat at the restaurant where Tim and Kelsea had their first date in Kelsea's old stomping ground - Lincoln Park. Also in the area: Replay (Arcade Bar), Lincoln Park Zoo, Matilda (Bar), Landmark Century Cinema and aliveOne (bar and music venue).

Gino's East

Gino's East

162 East Superior Street, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312) 266-3337

Don't miss out on the chance to eat true Chicago deep dish pizza! Tim and Kelsea can both agree on their love for Gino's East but Tim's favorite deep dish spot is Pequod's Pizza and Kelsea's is Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company.

Lagunitas Brewing Company Chicago

Lagunitas Brewing Company Chicago

2607 West 17th Street, Chicago, IL 60608
, (773) 522-1308

We highly recommend taking advantage of free brewery tours and a fun taproom at Lagunitas Brewery! While Lagunitas is definitely our favorite some other great choices are Goose Island Brewery and Lo Rez Brewing and Tap Room (this is located right across the street from our venue)!

Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field

1060 West Addison Street, Chicago, IL 60613
, (773) 404-2827

Tim and Kelsea may be divided on their Chicago baseball team alliances... but it can't be denied that Wrigleyville is a fun spot to visit! Take a walk around the stadium, grab a drink at the classic Murphy's Bleachers or check out the batting cages and (sometimes sticky...) dance floor at Sluggers.

Dark Matter Coffee Shops

Dark Matter Coffee Shops

2521 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622

While there are not any downtown locations, if you happen to drive by the Dark Matter sign, or see it sold somewhere and need a caffeine boost, go for it! This is Tim's favorite coffee with fun locations he and Kelsea would walk to from their apartment (The Mothership and Star Lounge in particular).

Beatnik on the River

Beatnik on the River

180 N Upper Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606

Staying at the Royal Sonesta and have some downtime in the city? Take a walk along the river and stop by Beatnik for a bite to eat. Some other fun walkable places close to the hotel are Eataly Chicago, The Nutella Cafe, Rock Bottom Brewery (with a rooftop bar) and the Daily Plaza.

Grant Park

Grant Park

301 S Columbus Dr, Chicago, IL 60605

Weather permitting - take a walk around Chicago's Grant Park. There you can run into Buckingham Fountain, some beautiful city and lake views and even head to Millennium Park and check out the Bean.

The Signature Room at the 95th®

The Signature Room at the 95th®

875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312) 787-9596

The 96th floor of the John Hancock building serves up some cocktails and city views!

The Art Institute of Chicago

The Art Institute of Chicago

111 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603
, (312) 443-3600

Downtown Chicago is home to many museums, a classic definitely has to be the Art Institute. Also close to our hotel and very new is the Museum of Illusions!

Fatso's Last Stand

Fatso's Last Stand

2258 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622
, (773) 245-3287

Grab a classic Chicago Dog across the street from where Tim and Kelsea lived in Ukranian Village. Other hotdog honorable mentions include: Portillos, Lukes, Devil Dawgs and Gene and Judes.
