How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP is online only. Please visit the RSVP page, input your name, and provide your responses, including a song request for the dance floor!

Can I bring a plus one and/or my child(ren)?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue has a very strict limit, so we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will be greatly missed, but we understand! Please visit the RSVP page, input your name, and respond, so that we may plan accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, VA. Please refer to the Events page for the full schedule of events and venue information.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. Throughout the cocktail hour and reception, guests will have the option to be outside on the Lower Terrace. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

Are the ceremony and reception handicap accessible?

Answer

Stone Tower Winery is handicap accessible. Our wonderful Venue Coordinators will utilize golf carts to escort guests in need to and from the outdoor ceremony location. The cocktail hour location, reception location, and back-up indoor ceremony location are all accessible via elevator.

What is "vineyard formal" attire?

Answer

Vineyard formal attire is your typical formal (or black-tie optional) attire. The men are welcome to wear a tux or formal suit and tie while the women are welcome to wear floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses (dressy suits and jumpsuits are also appropriate). We included vineyard along with formal as we would like to remind our guests that Stone Tower Winery is a working vineyard. As such, during outdoor portions of the event (weather permitting), you may come across slightly uneven terrain, while some indoor areas, specifically those used in the wine-making process, are kept at cooler temperatures.

What is the weather like in August?

Answer

In August, you can typically expect temperatures in the mid-80s with moderate humidity. Sunset usually occurs shortly after 8pm.

Are there places to stay in the area?

Answer

We have small room blocks at a few select hotels. Please refer to the Travel and Accommodations page for additional information regarding hotel room blocks and other places to stay in the area.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to the venue from select hotels and back. Please refer to the Travel and Accommodations page for more specific information regarding transportation.

Are Ubers easily accessible to and from the venue?

Answer

It is relatively easy to Uber to the winery; however, it can be difficult to do so when leaving. If you plan to leave the venue via Uber, we would recommend that you plan ahead for a long wait time or plan to use the shuttle to travel to one of the hotels and call the Uber from there. Please refer to the Travel and Accommodations page for more specific information regarding transportation.

Where do I park?

Answer

Upon your arrival to Stone Tower Winery, please let the greeter know that you are attending the Kelly-McCollom Wedding and they will direct you to the section of the parking lot that has been reserved for the event. Parking is free of charge and you are welcome to leave your car overnight should you need to make alternate travel arrangements at the end of the night.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm, so if you plan to attend, please begin arriving at 5pm. Please refer to the Events page for the full schedule of events.

Can I take pictures of the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is unplugged! We will be asking that all of our guests put away their phones and cameras prior to the start of the ceremony. Take the opportunity to be fully present with us in the moment while our photographer does all the work.

Can I take and post pictures after the ceremony?

Answer

Once our unplugged ceremony is over, we encourage you to take and post as many photos as you'd like. Our only request is that you include our wedding hashtag, #CallEmTheMcColloms, so that we can keep track of all your photos.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, guests will be invited into the venue's Barrel Club Room for cocktail hour, at which appetizers and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available. Please refer to the Events page for the full schedule of events and venue information.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

The reception will include a plated dinner as well as both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Please refer to the Events page for a full schedule of events and be sure to indicate your meal selection and any dietary preferences/restrictions on the RSVP form.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough. If you do wish to honor us with a gift, you can visit the Registry page for a complete list of items.
