Do I need a visa to go to France?

Answer

American citizens do not need a visa to go to France.

Do people in France speak English?

Answer

Yes. And the owners of the chateau are from England. Please don't be intimidated by language barriers!

Are we staying at the Chateau?

Answer

Though we'd love for everyone to stay at the Chateau with us, only close family will be able to stay on-site as we are limited to the number of people it can host. We have provided hotel recommendations on our "Travel" tab, please check them out!

Question

What kind of transportation is available to and from the chateau on the wedding weekend?

Answer

We kindly request you to be responsible for your own transportation. Please note that Uber does not exist in the French countryside. It is recommended that you rent a car in Bordeaux and drive to your hotel. If you choose to remain car-less, your hotel can arrange taxis for you.

We know planning a trip overseas takes a lot of work, which is why we are providing all of these details a year in advance. We kindly ask you to RSVP by March 1, 2024 so we can finalize our guest list.
