Question

May I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest" or a date is named, then yes. If not, we unfortunately cannot accommodate a plus one.

What if I know I can't make it?

Answer

If you know in advance that you will be not able to make it to the wedding, please let our wedding planner, Meaghan Kenny (meaghan@@foxandfernevents.com), as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Just know, you will be missed!

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are many wonderful hotels and short term rentals in Traverse City and the surrounding area. Check out our Travel Page for more information on room blocks and other options. We recommend staying in Traverse City, Suttons Bay, or Northport.

How will I get to the wedding?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to and from the venue on wedding day (shuttle schedule to come). Ridesharing and taxis are not readily available in Northern Michigan, so this will not be an option. If you've rented a car there is parking available at the venue.

What is the attire?

Answer

Formal wear: Please wear elegant attire suitable for a summer outdoor setting. For women, this could be a formal dress or an evening gown, and for men, a suit or tuxedo is appropriate. The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by a tented reception, so please choose footwear that works well on grass or uneven surfaces. As temperatures may drop after sunset, you might want to bring a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable throughout the evening.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Daily high temperatures range from 72 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit and daily low temperatures from 68 to 62 degrees Fahrenheit. There is generally a mild breeze, so you may want a light jacket once the sun sets since this is mainly an outdoor event.
