Bride
THE bride (totally stole that after the groom's love for THE Ohio State). Kelly has a love for puns, flamingos, puppies (basically all animals), pop culture, and early 2000's girl movies and TV. When she and the handsome groom met, she was immediately drawn to his fun conversations and they've been head over heels ever since. They share a love for travel, ridiculous movies and TV, and shared "quirks" like dipping their grilled cheese in ketchup. Kelly is so happy to have you here on her special day marrying the love of her life! #sorryLuna Love, Kelly #KellySwan
Groom
THE Groom. TJ is a fun loving, history knowing, cooking phenomenon that Gordon Ramsey praises, and sports fan (O's, Buckeyes, Zags, all soccer, and 49ers.) TJ met the lovely bride and was smitten instantly. They love to travel and explore all kinds of new and fun places with tons of experiences. TJ is happy to have you here as he goes forth marrying the love of his life and best friend (sorry Luna!) Cheers to the celebrations! Love, Terence J Miller II Ps. Yes TJ did write this from third person POV Pss. I love you Kelly!
Matron of Honor
I've know Laura since the day I was born because she is my lovely older sister! Laura always keeps me laughing with her dry and witty humor and humbled as only big sisters know how by "acting perfect." She is a wonderful wife to her husband, Dan, and a dedicated dog mom to her Whippet, Sophie. We share a love of pop culture, Gilmore Girls, a sense of adventure through travel, dogs, and Peloton rides (if I can get my act together and finally find my cord!) On my wedding day, I am delighted to have her stand by my side as my Matron of Honor. Love you sis! #sistersbeforemisters
Best Man
Oh boy, what can I say about this man... No seriously Sylvia what am I allowed to say? Ryan moved in one street over from TJ in the 4th grade. He got on the bus looking for a place to sit and found a life long friend instead - a terrible decision on his part. TJ and Ryan's friendship comes with arguments, talks, trips to fun destranions, lovely wavy hair, long walks on the... (OOPS daydreaming again.) Ryan is and always will be loyal and dedicated to this lifelong friendship and I wouldn't be able to marry Kelly without him by side. Love ya bud! P.S. Save a horse
Bridesmaid
Laura D and I met at McDaniel College and while the exact way we met is a mystery to us both, the fact we are long time friends has been solved! Laura is one of the most pleasant and kind people out there, in addition to being funny and chatty. In college, we always had a great time eating together at the dining hall and being big and little in our service sorority. Today, we share a love of being movie buddies, taking her adorable Labs, Teddy and Buddy, out for walks, music, and hot chocolate. I am honored to have her stand by my side as I say "I do" to TJ. Peace and love homie! #greenterrors4ever
Best Man
Don't confuse him with the other Ryan; he is much smaller ( by 4 inches.) Little Ryan is the newest addition to my friend group that's been nearly a decade in the making. LR is a great and supportive guy and would give you the shirt off his back (too bad its always a bad team; best to be shirtless.) Our friendship should not work based on my love of The Ohio State and his love of TTUN (gross), but we make it work with great banter and geeking out over our fandoms. Love ya Bud. TJ and I met Rose at our old apartment building, The Avant. TJ had gone to the leasing office to ask for a third parking spot and not only did we get the third spot, I got a Rose, which bloomed into a beautiful friendship! Rose is funny, sweet, super supportive, and is always getting up to hilarious adventures. We bond over our love of Bar Taco, ice cream, Shein dresses, pool days, perfumes, and bonding over TV shows. This Rose has no thorns and I am grateful to have her by my side as I marry my TJ! Love you girl! #Rosegold
Best Man
34 YEARS. Louder for those in the back! 34 YEARS. That is how long I have known Billy. Born 1 week prior to me (won't let me forget it), Billy and I have grown up together with so many memories of Smith Mountain Lake and Poolesville. Now no, I didn't summon Hagrid; He is more Jack Black School of Rock than wizard (although making a friendship last this long is magical.) Billy is a great guy with a fun loving personality and not having him stand with me would be a travesty. I'm so glad he can see my next great journey. Love ya bud! PS you have lost the game
Bridesmaid
I met Sylvia through our guys as they have been best friends since 10 years old (See Ryan M bio). As strong and tough as she is, don't let her "kick butt" attitude fool you: Sylvia is a lovely and sweet domestic Portuguese goddess, who can host a Halloween like no other. She and I bond over loving their cuddly dog, Lilo, travel (thank you again for your Portugal tips), food and drinks, and rolling our eyes at our guys' antics. I have loved watching our friendship grow and can't wait for it to grow more as you stand by my side. Love you girl! #futbolwags
Best Man
From across the pond in Southampton starting at water boy, we have Adam (crowd gives mild ethustaic snaps.) Adam and I met in a random English class and became friends fast and hard. Adam is a great guy up for an adventure through state lines or in foreign countries. We bonded over our love for the beautiful game and Boots. Adam is a lover of animals as he works with them and volunteers his time to help German Shepherds find rescue homes. Loving and kind are two words that describe him ( I wouldn't say that, but who am I?) I wouldn't be here without you. Love ya bud! Ps You're English, learn to like hot tea!
Best Girl
Hi, my name is Luna Buna Baby and no wedding is complete without me! I was adopted by the Millers, the last puppy available, but became first in their hearts. I love treatos, sleeping on the bed (don't tell Dad), long walks, not on the beach because ew sand, and snuggles with TJ. I hate wind, water, and those evil dolphins who splash me! Thank you all for coming and celebrating the handsome groom and his beautiful bride. Cheers to Kelly, the newest Miller! Love always, Luna
Best Man
My brother from the same mother? (I had tests done) Patrick is my youngest brother, 5 years my junior. Pat is a smart guy who has a heart of gold. We bond over our passions of cooking and trying to be the next Nolan brothers in movies (so far unsuccessful.) Pat is uniquely funny and quite witty with his banter and conversations. He is well versed on a plethora of topics (or whatever downloaded version of quick notes he memorized.) Having my brother up there is a dream and I'm so happy to have him in my life. Love ya bud! PS I am funnier HA!
Mother & Father of the Bride
These two love birds, Terry and Bill, first met at work with my dad asking my mom to go out to Skyline Drive for the weekend as their first date. Laura and I always joke that they would never let us go on a first date like this, but luckily for everyone, it was romantic and not an episode of Dateline. They got married a year later in 1984 and had their first daughter, Laura, in 1989 and then the bride, little old me, in 1991 at Shady Grove Hospital. What they didn't know at the time was their future son-in-law, TJ, was born at the same hospital, possibly crossing paths throughout our childhoods at Poolesville pool and the ice cream place below Fuddruckers. My parents have instilled in me a love of travel, sense of humor, kindness, and showing me what it means to be in a loving relationship. I am so thankful to them for all their love and support and being the best parents I could ask for. Love you both so much! #Madre&Padre
Father and Mother of Groom
Terry and Jane Miller are the Father and mother of the Groom. They first met at a small apartment complex where my mom was sitting outside and my dad came by dribbling a basketball. They dated for years before tying the knot in 1987 and a few years later they had the most perfect child (HI it's me TJ the author) They then had the Second almost perfect son Patrick! Terry and Jane have an Ohio and Maryland upbringing and wonderful blended family. They love each other most dearly and have shared wonderful and thoughtful memories with their two sons. They have taught me a lot about life (well the things saturday morning cartoons couldn't teach me) Having them here is a true honor and cant wait to blend the family even more with Kelly. LOVE YOU Mom & Dad PS Who would think we would end up at my wedding you both owe me $20!
