This is a 1.8 mile hike in Lanikai that features two pillboxes and beautiful view of Kailua, Lanikai, and Mokulua Islands. It is also heavily featured in our engagement photos as Terence proposed at the top of the hike!
We live on this park so call us if you're going to go do this easy, 3 mile paved walk with views of the Koolau mountains and we'll have refreshments waiting when you're done ;)
Paved hike that ends with a beautiful view over Honolulu.
Paved, incline hike on the east side overlooking Waimanalo.
Good snokeling
Boat cruise off Waikiki
Humane shark dive on North Shore
Kailua hosts two farmers markets, one Thursday evenings and one Sunday mornings. Highly recommend Pig & The Lady food truck at Thursdays and the green juice truck at Sundays.
Less crowded beach in Kailua
Good snorkeling
Fun to walk and shop after a beach day on North Shore
Stop in for a look around and a Dole Whip!
Had our engagement party here! And a frequent pop in for pupus & a cocktail on the deck.
Our go to for a nicer date night!
The best brunch in Kailua, always take our visitors here!
A new favorite that we first went to while wedding venue hunting and now make a point to pop in when we pass.
When we feel like having spectacular brunch, we're willing to drive here just for this food
Celebrated Kelly's 5 year work anniversary here. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu or the wine list!
Another must visit when we have guests. Sit in the beach front bar and order tropical cocktails.
Got some time to kill before your flight? Close to the airport and supposed birthplace of the Mai Tai.
We haven't recommended anything in this area of the island but if you're doing a drive and need a watering hole, pop in! Set on an inlet, there's a bit of a change of scenery if you're tired of looking at the ocean by now.
