Question
When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
While we appreciate RSVPs as soon as possible, we understand with a destination wedding, it takes time to arrange travel plans. In order to ensure accurate head counts for our venues, kindly RSVP no later than Saturday, March 7th, 2026.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! The dress code for the ceremony & reception is cocktail attire. Cocktail attire includes: a suit or jacket and tie for men; knee, midi, and ankle length dresses, or long jumpsuits/pantsuits for women. No denim or beachwear will be permitted, per venue requirements.

Are children welcome?
Answer
Although we love your children, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 13 on our wedding day.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence on our special day is truly the best gift we could ask for! As we are downsizing in preparation for an international move, gifts are not necessary. However, if you feel inclined, we have included some items on our registry that would help us in this next phase of our lives together. Please see the registry tab above for more details.

There seem to be some staple items missing from your registry, why?
Answer
As we have been living together since 2022, there are many items that are typical for registries that we already have. If you are considering giving us a gift, please note that we do not need any of the following items: flatware, china or other dishes, glassware, barware, liquor, or general household decorations. Thank you!

Why Bermuda?
Answer
As avid travelers, we had always loved the idea of a destination wedding. In 2023, we visited Bermuda on a cruise and had an incredible time exploring the island by scooter. When we saw the Unfinished Church, we dreamed of getting to hold our wedding in the stunning space. Now, we are so excited to make that dream a reality and share it with you!

What is the weather like in Bermuda in May?
Answer
Spring in Bermuda is wonderfully temperate and warm! Typically, you can expect highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-60s. Days are generally sunny or partially cloudy, with infrequent, light rain here and there. Water temperatures are a bit on the cooler side, hovering around 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have a room block at the resort where the reception is taking place. More details about this can be found under the "Travel" tab above. Alternatively, you are welcome to find your own accommodations in hotels or AirBNBs nearby. If looking for alternative accommodations, please note that the ceremony and reception will both be taking place on the North East end of the island.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Transportation on the day of the wedding will be provided from the Grotto Bay beach resort to the Unfinished Church for the ceremony, and from the Unfinished Church back to Grotto Bay for the reception. Transportation during the rest of your stay in Bermuda will need to be independently coordinated.

How do I get around in Bermuda?
Answer
While there are no rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc). on the island, Bermuda has a similar app called Hitch that allows you to charter a taxi from your phone. Other ways to get around are to utilize the public bus/ferry system, or rent a small vehicle (Twizzy, scooter, etc). Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. What time should I arrive at the ceremony venue?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at the Unfinished Church no later than 3:30pm so our ceremony can begin without a hitch.

Can I take photos or videos at the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request that no photos or videos are taken by guests once the ceremony has started. Having you with us for our wedding will be so special, and we want everyone to be fully present and able to enjoy the moment! Our professional photographers/videographers will do an excellent job capturing the ceremony and we will happily share those photos & videos with guests after the wedding.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The Unfinished Church is a beautiful outdoor location! It is the remains of a partially finished neo-Gothic church from the 18th century. There is a restroom on the premises. In the event of inclement weather, alternate plans for the ceremony will be announced to guests ahead of time.

Is the ceremony wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! Please be aware that the ceremony is outdoors in a grassy area, and the terrain may be inclined or uneven.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The reception will be held indoors at the Grotto Bay beach resort. Our cocktail hour will be held on the patio, barring any inclement weather.

When does the reception start/end?
Answer
The reception will begin at 5pm with a cocktail hour. From 6-11pm we will have dinner, dancing, drinks and fun!

Will food be served at the reception?
Answer
Yes! We will have a multi-course dinner buffet at our reception with a wide variety of options.

I have special dietary needs. Will the meal fit my diet?
Answer
We will have some vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. If you have any special dietary needs, please reach out at the time of RSVPing so we can ensure our catering team can meet your needs.

Is the reception wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! The reception space is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator.
