Great for: anyone looking to experience a hip Western vibe with a Japanese zen-like influence. We're sure you knew that was a thing. A beautiful property that is covered in greenery, this hotel will certainly make you feel like you're in Austin. Victor has always wanted to stay here, so you might get a visit during your stay. It's also only a 5-minute walk from South Congress Hotel.

Austin Motel

Great for: anyone looking to really embrace that "Keep Austin Weird" vibe. It's called a Motel, but expect so much more! It's the more affordable option on SOCO, and has a pool bar. It's also connected to and co-owned by one of our favorite restaurants in all of Austin, Joann's Fine Foods. Austin Motel is truly a staple on South Congress (famous for its ~erected~ sign in the photo above) & basically right next to Hotel San Jose.

Getting Around Austin

If you are coming from out of town and want to rent a car to truly explore all of Austin, please do so! Our venue has ample free parking. However, if you are staying somewhere central, we find it is easy and affordable to get around with Uber or Lyft. You might get lucky and find street parking, but it can be a bit of a nightmare downtown, and car service is available everywhere - including to our wedding venue. We recommend that you fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. It's only a 20-minute drive into downtown Austin.
