Maid of Honor
Lynn and I have been through it all together. Being sisters means I have always had her as my built in best friend. I could not imagine not having her standing next to me on this day. She has pushed me to excel in sports but more importantly my faith in God. She is one of my biggest role models and when hardships come I always go to Lynn. I would not be the person I am today if she was not my big sister.
Best Man
The one and only Nick Dailey. Nick and I have been friends since our freshmen year of college when we met during football camp. First known as the small black kid that lived in the basement of Hoben, Nick grew into my bestfriend and brother. We did everything together from playing videogames, waking up at 5:30 for lifting, or putting a pound of spinach on our burgers at the cafeteria because it was "healthy".
Bridesmaid
Claire is my best friend and I knew she would be from the first time I talked to her, when I asked if we could be friends forever. I always wanted a best friend and from the beginning, Claire and I had a connection that is indescribable. We went though nursing school together (for the most part) and were roommates. She also falls into the role of my personal therapist as she always knows what to say. She will forever be my best friend no matter what and I am so thankful to have her with me on my big day.
Groomsman
Logan and I have been friends since freshman year at Kalamazoo College. I first met him because he was Nick's roommate and best friend from Reeths Puffer. Logan is an amazing friend and even better teammate to have in Rocket League (You truly never lose when the PolishHammer is on your side). Most of my summers while at K were spent staying the night at Logan's house and just chilling with him and the rest of the Reeths Puffer Crew.
Bridesmaid
Abby and I meet in nursing school. She is the one who would be goofy with me, such as the time we wore our matching Mickey Mouse shirts to class. Our friendship is nothing flashy, but it is always consistent and loving. When I look into the future, I know Abby will always be there.
Groomsman
The man, the myth, the legend Walker Texas Ranger. I first met Walker my first day on campus at K while leaving my room for the first football meeting. After leaving my room I realized I locked myself out and didn't have my book and or cleats necessary for the meeting. The good thing is that Chung and his family were also leaving just then and helped me find someone to get me back in my room, even though it caused us to not be on "hornet time" which is a big no no. This is one of many occurrences that shows how truly a great friend Chung is.
Bridesmaid
Julia and I went though nursing school together. We did not get close until the summer going into our senior year. After our first paddle boarding trip together we became inseparable. We share in our value of Faith and trying to be 10 steps ahead in nursing school. Along with that, we shared our love for Mexican food, which is an unbreakable bond.
Groomsman
Jamo Brown aka my son in 1v1 basketball. Jamo and I have also been friends since our freshman year at K and we manned the MLB spots together our Senior year at K. I lived with Jamo during 3 of my 4 years at Kalamazoo and without him, our dorms and house would have been an absolute dumpster. Jamo is an amazing motivator and pushed me day in and out to get up and get in the weight room or get some extra sprints in. I know that Jamo will always be there for me no matter what.
Bridesmaid
Kenzie and I played college basketball together at LSSU. We had an immediate connection from the first time we met. Even though she graduated and moved away we have always stayed very close. She is a ride or die kind of friend and I have and always will cherish our friendship.
Groomsman
Matt Gu aka Gu-Op, the most jacked Asian you will ever meet. Me and Gu have been friends since our freshman year at K. Gu is the ultimate competitor and always let me know if his lifting numbers ever passed mine, which for the most part they were pretty close until we graduated. Me and Gu are very alike when it comes to competition and my favorite memories are when he got switched to offense our Senior year, needless to say there were lots of words thrown around.
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I have been friends since we first met in college. We played college basketball together and were roommates for a year. We share in each others faith which created a very strong bond. Brittany is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet, she is always there if I ever need a friend.
Groomsman
Bres and I have also been friends since our freshman year at K. Me and Bres played the Nickel position together during our first 3 years at K. Bres is one of the smartest people I know and is a big reason why I passed most of my classes. Not only that, Austin is also one of the most determined people I know as he came back from multiple ACL tears during our time at school. To go along with this, Austin took care of me when I tore my ACL and I ended up basically living on the couch outside of his room.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Laila is Scott's little sister and has become the little sister I never had. She has the sweetest personality and can make anyone smile. I am excited to have her standing up next to me as we officially become sisters.
Flower Girl
Ivy is Kelly's cousin.
Ring Bearer
Elijah is Kelly's cousin.
