Sunken Gardens

The gardens are one of Florida's oldest remaining roadside attractions, and today at over 100 years old, they are St. Petersburg's oldest living museum. In 1902, George Turner Sr., a plumber and avid gardener, purchased the land and drained the sinkhole to create his "sunken" garden. Fun fact: Kelly's sister & Maid of Honor, Megan, designed the SG website!
