We're excited for our guests to dress up and embrace the Pakistani culture through their attire! While we warmly encourage traditional-fusion Pakistani formal wear, we want everyone to feel comfortable and fabulous, so standard formal attire works too. For Women: * Lehenga: A long skirt paired with a blouse (commonly referred to as "choli") * Shalwar Kameez / Anarkali Suit: A knee length or longer tunic (kameez) with trousers (shalwar) / A long dress with pants/trousers worn underneath * Sharara/Gharara Suits: A kurta top paired with wide-legged, flared pants * Saree: A long draped garment (typically 6 yards of fabric) worn with a fitted blouse/choli * Long dresses or evening gowns are also welcome ** Most of these outfits are typically accompanied by a dupatta (long scarf), which is draped over the shoulder, or worn in various ways! ** Footwear: Wear what's comfortable! Our venue is outdoors with some grassy areas so we recommend comfortable shoes that won't sink into the grass. For Men: * Sherwani: A long coat-like top worn over fitted trousers * Kurta Shalwar: A knee-length tunic with loose-fitting or fitted trousers * Waistcoat (Koti): Can be worn over a kurta for added elegance ** A Kurta is the most common outfit for men. To spruce it up, consider adding a Koti. * Suit/tuxes are great for those opting for western attire Tips: * If ordering online, be sure to account for delivery and alteration timing * If you're in a bigger metro, you should be able to find Desi stores near you.
