For those staying in the hotel block, Short Pump Town Center is an open-air mall that is truly beautiful and a great place to shop, walk, kill some time, and see some beautiful flowers. They also have many chain restaurants including Maggiano's Little Italy, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Casa Del Barco, The Cheesecake Factory, etc.

If you're staying in the hotel block and are looking to grab a meal, we love grabbing Indian food at Lehja. It is conveniently located in Short Pump Town Center.

Free admission! The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts houses a remarkable permanent collection of more than 50,000 works of art from almost every major world culture.
Maymont Gardens
The Maymont Gardens are an expansive ground of landscapes in different culture styles. They also have a small zoo-like section. Free to the public.
WALKING/THE JAMES RIVER ........Belle Isle, Brown's Island
If you'd like to see the James River and get some outside time, Belle Isle is a great place to do so.

For those staying in Richmond city, this is an excellent coffee spot in our neighborhood! While Robbie and I are not necessarily coffee drinkers, anyone we have brought here has been pleased.

For those staying in Richmond city, this is an excellent coffee and pastry shop in our neighborhood! Often with vegan friendly pastries. Some of our favorites to get are their house made pop tarts (or as they like to call them Hop Tarts) and whatever cupcake they have on hand that day.

For those staying in Richmond city, this is an excellent bakery in our neighborhood! Often with a line out the door, it is worth the wait! Their breads and pastries are divine.

For those staying in Richmond city, this is an excellent spot in our neighborhood! They offer savory and sweet pies that are the perfect lunch or midday treat. They usually have vegan/veg friendly options!

For those staying in Richmond city, this is an excellent restaurant in our neighborhood! Many of their menu items already are or can be made gluten free or vegan! They are known for Brunch All Day, handhelds, for being a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
