What about COVID19?

Answer

While rates of COVID-19 are still high throughout the country, we've tried to take precautions by requiring that every adult attending the wedding events be vaccinated. If you've recently traveled out of the country or to areas with high daily positivity rates but low vaccination rates, we ask that you consider getting tested for covid-19 before coming. If you have any cold-like symptoms at all or were recently exposed to someone who tested positive for covid-19, we ask that you please let us know and not attend the wedding. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Will you have a live stream for the ceremonies since we are unable to make the trip due to COVID-19?

Answer

Yes. We will be live streaming both the Hindu Wedding Ceremony and the Catholic Wedding Ceremony via this link below: https://bit.ly/WatchKellyAndRahulDoIt We are setting this up with the help of Kelly's cousin, Jonathan, and her brother, Joe. We will do our best and hope the stream will go without a problem. Jonathan and Joe are quite tech savvy but sometimes the tech doesn't always cooperate. If there is a problem with streaming live, you might have to watch the replay on video. Let us know if you have any questions.

Will there be transportation for the reception?

Answer

Yes. There will be 2 buses to provide transportation to and from the Holiday Inn Auburn-Finger Lakes and the reception venue, The Lodge, on Sunday 10/10/21. Holiday Inn to The Lodge: The first bus will load on the street between the Holiday Inn and the church from 4:45 - 5pm, leaving promptly at 5pm. It will return around 5:40pm, for another load of guests, leaving promptly at 5:45pm to head to the Lodge. The Lodge to the Holiday Inn: First bus will leave at 10pm, then return for a second trip to leave at 11pm at the end of the reception. Third bus will leave at 11pm.

Are kids invited to the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We are so blessed to have such a big and loving family and we wish we could invite everyone, however we made the difficult decision to keep the wedding reception on Sunday 10/10/21 to adults only. Please let us know if you need help finding a babysitter.

Are you going on a honeymoon?

Answer

Yes! We will be leaving Tuesday 10/12 to head to Hawaii to fit in 3 islands (O'ahu, Maui, & Kauai) in 12 days! If you've been we would love to hear suggestions or advice! Where to eat, beach suggestions, hidden adventures, etc. Email: cummings.kj@gmail.com or 19shahr@gmail.com
