We're getting married!

Our story began in Syracuse, New York. We became good friends after running into each other at bars/social events during orientation for medical school. Eventually we started watching NY Giants games together almost every Sunday. It took forever for Rahul to make the first move, so one evening Kelly invited Rahul over to play Mario Kart and we began dating shortly after! We quickly learned that despite our different cultures we had way more in common than our love for sports and Mario Kart. We leaned on each other through tough times in Medical School, Residency, Kelly's Fellowship and a pandemic. Our love grew throughout, from Syracuse, to Long Island, to NYC and as far around the world as China, Japan, India and England. So at the end of one of the hardest years for so many of us, Rahul, in his always optimistic way, knew he wanted to end it on a high note, by asking Kelly to marry him on the roof of our NYC apartment on New Year's Eve!
