Our wedding weekend is taking place at Forte Rose, a beautiful boutique venue in Rose, Montenegro — a tiny car-free village nestled on the Bay of Kotor. All three days of celebrations will take place here: the Friday boat trip, Saturday ceremony, and Sunday beach BBQ.
The wedding ceremony is on Saturday, September 18th, 2027 — that's the main event and the day we hope everyone can be there for. We've also planned some optional extras on either side: a boat party on Friday the 17th and a beach BBQ on Sunday the 19th. We'd absolutely love for you to join us for all three days if your travel plans allow — but there's no pressure at all. If your logistics mean you can only make Saturday, that's completely wonderful too.
There are three options: - Tiwak airport - Pogorika airport - Dubrovnik airport For details, see the travel page.
From either airport, you have three options: Rental car — available at both airports from major companies. Great if you want the freedom to explore the area. Just be aware that Rose is a car-free village, so you'll need to park nearby and walk in. Taxi — available at both airports. Worth agreeing on a fare before you set off. Private transfer — the most comfortable and hassle-free option. We'll share some recommended local companies closer to the date.
We have two options to recommend: 1. Forte Rose (the venue itself, recommended option) 2. Agape Rose Hotel For details, see the travel page.
Absolutely! Forte Rose is open throughout the weekend, and you're warmly welcome to come and go as you please regardless of where you're staying. There will always be a place for you here.
The dress code for the Saturday wedding ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. Think elegant dresses, suits, or smart separates. The venue is outdoors on the Adriatic coast, so keep in mind that September evenings can be warm but may carry a light breeze — a wrap or light layer for later in the evening is a good idea. Friday and Sunday events are more relaxed — we'll share more details on those closer to the date.
Yes! If your invitation includes a plus one, we'd love for you to bring someone special. Please make sure to include their details when you RSVP.
Yes, little ones are welcome! We know that for many of you, travelling to Montenegro is only possible if the kids come too — and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Yes — we want everyone to eat well and feel looked after. When you RSVP, please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies, or preferences and we'll make sure they're catered for.
This is a save-the-date for now — we just wanted to get this on your radar as early as possible, since we know travelling to Montenegro takes some planning! We'll be in touch next year with formal invitations and RSVP details. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly.
The one thing we'd suggest doing sooner rather than later is keeping an eye on flights — good deals to Dubrovnik or Tivat tend to go quickly, especially for September. But you don't need to worry about this until 2027. They say the best time to book flights is three months out for international and two months out for domestic flights. Beyond that, sit tight and we'll guide you through everything as we get closer to the date.
