Our first date with the kids we went to the American Visionary Art Museum. This spot is a treasure. You'll also spend as much time in the gift shop as the museum.

After that, we went to the Paper Moon Diner. It's a great place for a game of I Spy and has an amazing collection of Pez dispensers. Michael recommends the Bacon Milkshake. Kelly loves the Bird's Nest.

Another favorite stop is Fells Point. We love the steamed shrimp at Penny Black. We also love the ambiance. Nestled at the corner of Ann and Thames, the outdoor patio is romantic and the bar was originally on a German oceanliner. There are no TVs in the place--which makes it perfect for conversation.

While you're in Fells, you MUST stop at Soundgarden. We most recently purchased the EP Texas Sun on vinyl. We love the collaboration of Leon Bridges and Khrangbin. Record stores rock!
