Walk through the historic streets of Old Sacramento. While you're there visit a joke store and pick up some salt water taffy. Old Sacramento is a great place to walk along the river and see the golden bridge that leads to the River Cats' stadium as well.
There are lots of great coffee shops and brunch spots in Sacramento. For a full brunch try Cafeteria 15L, Iron Horse or The Porch. Temple Coffee Roasters, Philz and Old Soul are some nice coffee shops or pickup some pastries at Pushkins. You could also try the Mill where Matt and Kelly had their first date.
Directly across the street from the former location of the original Tower Records, Tower Café and Tower Theater are still great spots for brunch and an old fashioned movie theater. The french toast here is famous.
The Fab 40s is a neighborhood beautiful houses located between 37th and 48th streets in the block between Folsom Blvd. and J Street. This is a beautiful area to walk and admire, drive through to see Halloween decorations, or try to find the house blue house from Lady Bird.
