Matt and Kelly met in 2016 after several failed Bumble and Tinder dates and multiple deletions of all dating apps. Eventually they stumbled upon each others Bumble profiles, and Matt immediately hooked Kelly by posting a shameless amount of photos with his mini Australian Shepherd (Josie). While the first date for these two was as awkward as you might expect any first date to be, things turned around at their second date at an indoor mini golf course. Eventually Matt and Kelly bonded over many Chipotle filled nights watching The Office and Parks and Rec. Throughout their relationship, Matt and Kelly have undergone several life changes together, moved to Sacramento, changed jobs, quarantined during a pandemic and supported each other every step of the way. Today Josie is more spoiled than ever before and Matt and Kelly continue to bond over a nice burrito bowl.
