We'd love for our guests to wear cocktail attire. We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie (optional!) and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Given the outdoor venue, shoes that you can wear on brick paver and a little dust is best! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be OUTSIDE (shoutout California!) but it does start to cool down once the sun sets, so we'd recommend maybe bringing a sweater or jacket.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outside. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather, but typical temperatures at 5pm (ceremony start time) are low-70s to mid-60s. It does start to cool down once the sun sets, though dancing and later evening activities will move inside. We may have heaters in place if needed, but layers are recommended for comfort.
Everything is at the same location and there will not be transportation provided, but there's plenty of ride share options (Uber, Lyft, etc.) in the area. We recommend trying to coordinate sharing cars with other guests, and the venue is about 10 minutes from the hotels. If you plan to drive yourself, there's free (overnight!) parking on-site.
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
We have reserved blocks of rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Palo Alto, as well as the Residence Inn Palo Alto / Los Altos. If you choose not to stay at either, there are many other hotel and Airbnb options close by. All hotel booking details can be found on the "Travel" page of the website.
Please RSVP by September 1st!
Yes, we'll be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday evening and Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning. Each event is at one of the hotels we've reserved a room block at, and both are within walking distance of each other. For more details, please see the "Schedule" page!
