Is there a dress code?

Friday night Welcome drinks: Dressy Casual. Sundresses, khakis, nice shorts, linen, button downs, polos, etc. We will be outside near the water and June weather in New England can be unpredictable. Saturday: Cocktail attire. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside (weather permitting) and our reception will be inside. After party: Wear whatever you want! Get comfortable after being in your dresses and suits

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding day events will be strictly adults-only. However, please feel free to bring your kiddos to our Friday night welcome drinks, but do be advised that our welcome drinks will be taking place on a dock over the lake so it is very important that you keep a close eye on your kids should you choose to bring them. Basin Harbor is a very family-friendly resort with on-site sitters if you choose to bring your kids for the whole weekend! If you need a babysitter on-site at Basin Harbor on the day of our wedding, their concierge team has the resources to assist you. Where can I eat before the Welcome Drinks?

There are several different options for dining at Basin Harbor. For a more formal dinner we recommend Ardelia's, which is also where our reception will take place! If you still want a sit down dinner in a more relaxed environment, check out The Red Mill and get a sneak peak of where our after party will take place. Not in the mood for a sit down dinner? Check out Issie's Sushi or the Flagship Food Truck. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30. Please arrive to the wedding arch area to be seated by 4:15!

Question

I'm not staying at Basin Harbor but planning to come there for the events, what is the parking situation?

Answer

If you are staying at accommodations outside of Basin Harbor or are just driving in for the wedding events, there is plenty of parking throughout the resort. Your best bet is to look for parking in front of the main lodge and near the Golf Club.
