San Francisco has a plethora of amazing airbnb rentals and hotels all around the city. North Beach, the Mission, Inner Richmond, Union Square and NOPA are great, centrally-located neighborhoods with lots of great restaurants and shops - but SF is small and pretty easy to get around, so anywhere you pick will be perfect.
