If you want to go tubing - maybe after the picnic on Saturday - you can rent tubes at Adventure West. It costs $23 for a commercial grade river tube, life jacket, helmet (optional) and tubing tips and safety talk that tells you exactly where to put in and how to run the rapids more effectively and safely. There is also a tube shuttle package for $38. This includes two rides from Adventure West to the recommended location where you put in, Route6/93 bridge. The exit for the creek is at Vanover Park right next to the tube stand. Water shoes are necessary. You can rent nice surf booties for just $5 .
