This is very important for our headcount for the food truck!! Please RSVP as soon as possible under the RSVP tab- you can elect to respond solely for the After Party. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What should we expect at this reception?
Answer
While this is technically a reception, it is still a casual event and a pool party. La Caretta Mexican Food will have their food truck on site slinging tacos and more, DJ Mike will be providing music, there will be a photo booth, and plenty of yard games. Please prepare to dress appropriately- it will be hot and you will want your sunscreen! We will be providing some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but contributions are greatly appreciated.

Where do we park?
Answer
As we are hosting this event at home (or home adjacent), the neighborhood can't support a full parking lot. As such, we are instructing guests to park at the Park and Ride on Monocacy Blvd (approximately 1 mile from the house) and we will be providing shuttle service to and from continuously from 12-4pm. If you plan to stay longer than 4pm, you are welcome but will need to prepare to arrange for an Uber/Lyft or another means of transport to the Park and Ride following the party.

What should we wear?

It's a pool party! Dress in comfortable summer clothes, bring your suit if you'd like to swim, and perhaps a change of clothes.

What's with the time?
Answer
Due to the volume of guests we'd like to include and for the sake of the space, we are hosting a staggered party. You may have notice that your time is different than another guests time, this is intentional and not in error :) Family is encouraged to arrive around 12pm, and friends anytime after 2pm. Family is welcome to stay as long as they like, the 2pm time is just when the next "wave" of guests will arrive. Please keep in mind transport will only be running from 12-4pm.

Can we bring anything?
Answer
Food will be provided and is not necessary. However, if you have dietary restrictions or allergies and prefer to bring something specific to share, there will be a table for snacks and grazing. We will be providing some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but the party is mainly BYOB :)

I'm from out of town- where should I stay?
Answer
Under "Travel" we posted a section towards the bottom with hotel suggestions. Downtown Frederick is just a couple of miles away from the party location and is idyllic for a visit. While Downtown does not have any formal hotels, there are LOADS of charming Air BNB's, as well as actual Bed and Breakfasts. If you have any questions about choosing the best option for you and want opinions on location, please don't hesitate to ask Colin or Kelly! We are happy to point you in the right direction :)
