Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, all wedding day events will be located at Evergreen Lake House, and we will have shuttles to and from the lake house. There is free parking on site; however, it is a public park, and we cannot guarantee there will be spots available if you drive yourself. Note, there is no Uber/Lyft availability in Evergreen.

Will I be affected by the altitude?

Answer

Possibly, Denver is at 5,280 feet above sea level, and Evergreen Lake House is at about 7,000 feet above sea level. It is possible to be light headed, dehydrated, and have some effects of altitude sickness. We recommend you arrive at least 1 day prior to the wedding to acclimate and drink plenty of water. Also, the saying goes, 1 alcoholic drink at elevation equals 2 at sea level.

Are there hotels available closer to the venue?

Answer

Yes, there are some hotels near Evergreen Lake House. There also may be Airbnb or other booking options nearby; however, we are only providing transportation from the main hotel in Denver. If you stay in Evergreen, you will need to transport yourself to the venue.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes, sustainability and guest convenience are important to us so we will provide a shuttle to and from the Hilton Garden Inn in Arvada (see Travel section). There is free parking on site; however, it is a public park, and we cannot guarantee there will be spots available if you drive yourself. Note, there may not be Uber/Lyft availability in Evergreen.
