Savannah is where we met ~fell in love~ and currently live. We firmly believe it is one of the prettiest cities in the country and we couldn’t picture getting married anywhere else. We are so thankful to those of you traveling from out of town and are looking forward to sharing Savannah’s beauty with you! We’re crossing our fingers that the azaleas will be blooming when everyone is in town 🤞🏻
Please arrive at St. Peter the Apostle at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. Please keep in mind that we will have an unplugged ceremony and will share pictures with you afterwards!
Yes, there is plenty of free parking at St. Peter the Apostle and valet parking at the Hyatt. If you don’t want to pay for valet, you can try street parking or a public garage. The nearest garage is about two blocks away at the Whitaker Parking Garage at 7 Whitaker Street.
We reserved and closed off River Street outside of the Hyatt for both our reception and cocktail hour. All guests will have access to it from the ballroom. It will be a great place to take in the Savannah River or spot a cargo ship passing by. Savannah tends to get a bit cooler at night in late March. We suggest bringing a light jacket, if you're planning on spending any part of the evening outside.
Formal attire is requested at our reception. Tuxes and gowns are welcome and so are suits and midi-dresses. No denim or hats, please. Feel free to wear something casual, if you’re joining the welcome party!
Of course, you are welcome to wear any color you like (except for white), but for those who are curious, our bridesmaids will be wearing sky blue.
In order to allow all our guests, including parents, a night of fun, we have chosen for our wedding to be adults only occasions. Thank you for understanding.
We would love to include everyone, but all invited plus ones and family members are listed by name on your invitation!
Yes! Savannah has no open container laws in the Historic District. Just make sure you grab a “to-go” cup (most bars have them stacked by the exit) and don’t bring glass into the streets :)
