Check out the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater for a fun hike with excellent views. Parking is free and access to the park is completely open as long as there isn’t a show going on. (There’s also a yoga class in the amphitheater on Saturday mornings starting at 7AM. Search “Yoga on the Rocks” for more info.)
Get a behind the scenes look at how the iconic Colorado beer has been brewed since 1873. After the tour, head down the road to grab a pint from the Golden Mill, where they have 20 self-serve taps containing a variety of beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails.
Kelly's favorite hike near Denver! The park features 10+ miles of trails with terrain ranging from rocky sagebrush covered hills to the aptly named "Enchanted Forest". We recommend going on an odd calendar day (ie the 5th, 7th, 9th) when half of the trails are for hikers only- on the even days those trails are reserved for mountain bikers.
Get lost in the colorful, awe-inspiring world of Meow Wolf, where Andrew and Kelly met for the first time! It’s an interactive, otherworldly space created through the collaborative efforts of 300+ artists. Walking throughout the 5-story space can take hours and is truly an incredible experience.
If you want to check out Andrew and Kelly's little metropolis, this is it! They've loved living in this community of 5000 residents since March '24. A perfect peek into Edgewater could include: -coffee from Sati -a walk around Sloan's Lake (2.5 miles) -lunch and window shopping at the Edgewater Public Market -a cold beer on the rooftop of Joyride Brewing or on the sun-soaked patio at the Edgewater Beer Garden
