Since we love food so much, we had to recommend our favorite breakfast spot. Cute little cafe with a diner feel, amazing food, great prices and friendly staff. Right across from Ledger
For those who love being on the water as much as we do, you must take a ride on the Schooner Fame. See the beautiful sites and get a great history lesson from the captain and his crew. Check Groupon for discounted tickets!
For those making a long weekend of it, Opus is another one of our favorites. They have everything from sushi to chicken and waffles to bacon wrapped dates. Plus, their bartenders know how to make some wicked good craft cocktails.
If dining by the water is more your thing, you must check out Sea Level, located on Pickering Wharf. It's delicious food paired with a casual vibe. Try their Chowdah Fries. To die for! And check out the shops on Pickering Wharf afterwards.
Head over to Salem's very own art museum for some culture. Their exhibits are one of a kind and the architecture is awe inspiring.
Do you like hard cider? Stop by one of our favorites for some unique craft cider. Not so much a fan of cider? No worries! Some of their ciders are hoppy while others taste very similar to a refreshing white wine.
Ready for a history lesson? Take the self-guided tour along Salem's Red Line. Some "must stop" places along the way: The Samuel McIntire Architectural District, the Ropes Mansion, Old Town Hall, Salem Witch Trials Memorial, House of the Seven Gables, and Ye Olde Pepper Companie.
Before leaving town, head to one of our favorite stores for some delicious cheeses, delightful meats, and a tasty bottle of wine to wash it all down. The staff is super friendly and they will let you taste the grub!
You must make a quick stop in Pamplemousse before leaving town. Grab a gift for the kitchen, a gourmet snack or some local mead for a friend. Or yourself.
Do not miss this historic home! The interior has so much history and the grounds are beautiful. Their docent Jeff gives hands down the best tour.
Feel like drinking some more? Hop over to The Lobstery Shanty for their Lobster Martini...and delicious food. This place was on Food Network's Triple D!
For some light shopping, check out this cute boutique store. They have one-of-a-kind items that you won't want to leave the store without. Be sure to check out all the cute shops on Front Street!
For a unique experience, this is a must do. These tours "are the perfect way to experience historic Salem as well as modern Salem with it’s thriving culinary and cultural scene." Choose between an AM Coffee Walk, a Food Tour or the newest Spirits Trolley tour. Your tour guide Karen is one of the nicest, most informative people you will meet.
