Yes! We only ask that children be removed if they become restless during the ceremony.
Cocktail attire. Also, note that the weather can be a bit unpredictable this time of year so keep an eye out. We are hoping to have the ceremony and reception outside but do have an indoor backup plan.
Yes! We personally understand how difficult food restrictions can be at events. Luckily our caterer is very accommodating so please reach out and we'll be happy to discuss. The earlier the better!
There is a parking lot right at the venue and we will have some reserved spots, but we strongly request carpooling and ride sharing if possible! There is an event (Arts in the Park) happening right next to the venue so if the weather is good, the area could be busy. Additional parking can be found nearby at the Robins Nature Center, but be aware there could be another wedding at that location. Don't get lost! The Maymont parking lot will be locked at the conclusion of the event and will be open at 10am the next day if you need to rideshare home. If you park at the Robin's Nature Center, you will need to walk back through Byrd Park, as Maymont itself will be closed.
