How far is the town of Ludington from the wedding venue Iris Hills?

Answer

Iris Hills, the site for both the ceremony and the reception is 4.9 miles from the downtown Ludington city limits.

Are children allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the limitations of space, we are unable to entertain children at the wedding. So, children under the age of 18 will not be able to attend. Should you require assistance with childcare, please let us know as we have a couple of sitters available to us.

Where is the nearest airport located?

Answer

Traverse City is the closest and is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from Ludington. Grand Rapids is the second closest airport.

Will there be alternative transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Arrangements can be made, if needed, to get you to the wedding, as well as getting those that need assistance back to their hotels. We will make arrangements for requested transportation on an as needed basis.

What should we expect for parking and accessibility of the wedding venue?

Answer

When you arrive at Iris Hills you will be met by the Valet attendants. Those requiring greater assistance will have shuttle service provided to them by golf cart to the ceremony, poolside cocktail party, reception and/or restrooms

What is the timeline for the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm on Saturday, August 19, 2019. Cocktails will be served poolside from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. Reception to follow at 6:30pm, with dinner served at 7:00pm, followed by dessert and dancing until 12:00am.
