George and Kellie met many times throughout their school years in Hartland. However, one day in October of their Senior year they exchanged small talk, which then turned into texting and hanging out whenever possible. As soon as they officially started dating, George told Kellie that his lifelong dream was to be a Marine and he had already enlisted. For some, that may be a deal breaker, but for Kellie it seemed like a small obstacle since George had already meant so much. So, Senior year came and went and boot camp quickly approached. George left over a month early, which we all now see as a blessing in disguise. Over the past 3 years that George has been in the Marines, their relationship has been long distance. Facetime and texting has become a big staple for them. George has deployed once already and he will be deploying again in the near future. Nothing about their relationship has ever been easy, but afterall, good love is never easy. ❤️
