What is the photo contest?

Answer

In this time of mobile phones and digital cameras, we find the best and most candid photos are often those which are captured by the amateur participant. So, in lieu of hiring a photographer, we are betting on the talent of our loved ones to best capture the sentiments of the day. That evening at the reception, we will play the submissions in a slideshow at the party. The party guests will then vote on their favorite picture and the prize will be awarded to the photo with the most votes. You will have ample time between the ceremony and the party to edit your photos for submission, so make it count. We plan on being VERY grateful.

What is the private FAMILY ONLY brunch?

Answer

We will be having a private brunch with our families immediately after the ceremony. Space for this venue is microscopic so guests will be notified individually/personally. We love you all and look forward to spending the evening with all our loved ones in our home at the reception.

What will the weather be like in September in Tucson, AZ

Answer

HOT. This is why we are having the ceremony so early. Average September temperatures reach highs of 95° with lows of 71°. We anticipate about 80° for the ceremony, though we will be in the shade for the entirely of the event. If we are lucky we get about 3 days of rain that month so you can leave your rain coat, but don't forget your swim suit...and sunblock.

Do you need any help?

Answer

We are arranging for a large party for the reception and we should have enough help. However, if you are so inclined to help prepare for the festivities, you are certainly welcome. Just let Kellie know you are hankering for some hard labor, and she will put you to work. Otherwise, please enjoy our beloved city and mountains, and join us when you can.

Why no children at the ceremony?

Answer

Because the ceremony is an adult affair suited for only the best behaved grown-ups.

Yes please! We invite anyone who is interested to please bring along your favorite finger foods to the evening reception.Nicole Gullick will be managing this for us. We will need ample refueling to help sustain all the celebrating

What are we to do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Please see "things to do" or call Kellie or Bradley for ideas. Otherwise, we are planning an ULTRA casual gathering later on so kick back, relax, go to the Desert Museum, Air and Space Museum or Saguaro National Park, check out our beloved Catalina mountain range, Tubac is an hour a way. Go home, change into your comfy clothes and come over after a lite dinner leaving room for snacks and spirits.

Why do Kellie's girls have to wear black?

Answer

Truth: Kellie would like all the pictures with her girls to look as though everyone is part of the wedding party. This way no one has to purchase an ugly wear-once dress, all the photos look intentional, and everyone matches. If you hate it, don't wear it. Just bring a smile :)

Life. We plan on having awesome playlists and speakers and all the music needed to create a perfect backdrop for our event.
