Max and I love spending time outside and hiking or catching some rays. This is a great place to go if you need a little nature escape. Don't forget to climb to the top of the lookout tower!
Kopp's is home of the best frozen custard in town! Whenever Kelli comes home for a visit, she always makes a pitstop for the flavor of the day. Feeling dinner and custard? Kopp's cheeseburgers are hard to beat!
A trip to the zoo never disappoints. Milwaukee County Zoo has over 2,000 animals on 190 park-like acres. Don't forget to check out the sea lion show or take a ride on the zoo train!
If you want to head downtown Milwaukee, we suggest checking out the Historic Third Ward. This area has lots of local shops, restaurants, and bars. The Milwaukee Public Market is a great place to start for all things Wisconsin. Head over to The Wicked Hop to see where our relationship all began. Take a long stroll along the Riverwalk and see where you end up!
This is a favorite spot of ours! We came here for an impromptu brewery tour on one of our first dates and we kept coming back. If you're a fan of beer and want to tour a Milwaukee staple, this is the place to be! Stop in for a pint of our favorites - Riverwest Stein or Lakefront IPA - or sign up for the tour. If you want to do the tour we suggest buying tickets in advance. Cheers!
