What's the best way to get around the island?

Rental car or taxi. There is no Uber in St. Barths, although there are taxi services. You can find car rental companies under the travel section, or cars can be rented once you enter the island by the ferry and airport. Is St. Barths safe?

St. Barts is one of the safest places in the world. While there is petty theft, there is no personal risk whatsoever; no guns, no gangs, no-one has ever been mugged, there are no 'no go" areas, you can go anywhere on the island night or day without any risk to your personal safety.

What are the Covid-19 St. Barth Entry Protocols?

St. Barthélemy is currently classified as Level 1 (lowest risk) with the CDC. All visitors (age 18+ OR Children between 12 to 17 years of age that are traveling alone) arriving from Green or Orange or Red countries may enter with proof of FULL vaccination performed at least 2 weeks prior to arrival, and you must present a negative Covid-19 antigen or PCR test test taken within 24 hours (1 day) of your originating flight. Children 12 to 17 are also required to present the same negative Covid-19 test. Only children under the age of 12 are exempt from testing. We highly recommend you purchase an approved home test which can be taken online under the supervision of a technician to verify the results. Sample websites to purchase tests are Emed, Qured, and Get Tested Now. All non-vaccinated visitors may only enter for a compelling reason (family, professional, medical) with pre-authorization.
