Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see all our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting Cocktail Attire at our wedding - we suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please refrain from wearing denim (jeans), cargo pants, flip flops and wearing white or other very light hues like cream, silver or pale pink.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than May 1, 2025. Earlier is always appreciated! You can RSVP by clicking the tab on the menu above. Our final numbers for our venue and vendors are due at this time! Please help us out by kindly RSVP'ing on time. Otherwise, we will have to celebrate without you and will miss you being a part of our big day!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invite! We want to keep our wedding to our closest friends and family!

Are kids invited?

Answer

As we finalize our guest list, we wanted to let you know that we have decided to have young adults and adults only at our wedding, with the exception of the little ones in the bridal party. We hope you can understand that we have limited space and understand this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. We hope that you will still be able to join us on this special day, and look forward to celebrating with you!

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, so please arrive before 4:45pm to find a seat, grab a program, and socialize before the festivities begin!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is a plenty of parking at our venue! Please follow the parking attendants instructions. There is absolutely no parking on the grass except for the truck/SUV overflow parking specifically designated.

Is the ceremony going to be inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside, with the reception to follow inside our venue. In case of rain, we will move the ceremony inside the reception venue.

Can I take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We are so thrilled to have you join us and know you will want to capture the moments along the way! However, we kindly ask that you don't use your cellphone during our ceremony to help us keep the focus on the love and commitment we are making to each other. We also don't want our talented photographer having their shots blocked by cellphones as they work hard to capture every moment for us! Our photographer is amazing and we promise to share the photos with you! Please take ALL the photos at the reception and make sure to share with us!

Will there be an open bar?

We will be offering an open bar featuring beer, wine, and a selection of seltzers. For guests who prefer non-alcoholic options, a variety of refreshing beverages will also be available.

What's on the menu?

Answer

Pok-E-Joe's BBQ out of Vinton will be catering our wedding. It will be a buffet of your choice of Pulled Chicken or Pork, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans and Baked Beans, along with rolls to build a sandwich if desired. We will also have donuts from a Blacksburg favorite - Carol Lee Donuts!

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes, our venue is ADA accessible, including restrooms. Please reach out to us if you need special accommodations, the parking lot is gravel with a gravel path leading to the venue, but we can arrange for drop off closer to the venue for easier access! Please let us know if you have any concerns, we want to make sure everyone can come and celebrate with us comfortably!

Is your venue climate controlled?

Our venue is an open air pavilion, situated so the sun does not shine on any tables inside and has great fans and circulation to keep you cool.

Can I smoke/vape?

Answer

There is a designated smoking area at our venue next to the pavilion for smoking and vaping. Please properly dispose of your cigarette butts in the sand receptacle.
