The Azores are located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the weather can change quickly, so it’s good to always be prepared for an unexpected rain shower. The locals like to say that in the Azores, you can experience all four seasons in one day, so it’s best to leave the house prepared for anything.
The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden. The reception will be in an outdoor tent with a full floor.
Transportation has been arranged. Please plan to board the busses no later than 4:15 pm.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Yes we have a hotel room block. Guests are welcome to book the room block from October 2th-October 8th. We do recommended using the room block for the welcome night and night of wedding as this is where transportation will be provided from. We are encouraging guests who are staying longer to stay in other areas of the island.
Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including tea houses, spas and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
Our ceremony and reception are black-tie optional. We invite gentlemen to wear tuxes and/or suits and ties. Ladies are encouraged to wear long dresses.
