RSVP deadline?

Answer

We request that all RSVPs be submitted no later than July 29th, a month prior to the event. That way, we can provde an accurate count for the venue and catering.

Question

Dress code?

Answer

The dress code is casual to semi-formal. We want everyone to be comfortable (reminder- it will be the end of August!) but also be presentable to pictures. Our theme is nature-inspired, so any earth tones will be appropriate, or other summer-y attire. Think cocktail hour meets garden party! Feel free to reach out to the bride or groom with any attire questions or for input on options!

What about the ceremony??

Answer

The bride and groom decided to have a private ceremony in July to fully enjoy focus on each other and the day. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone at a dedicated reception to connect with loved ones and to celebrate this occasion!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We request that only children who were invited themselves be at the wedding, otherwise please refrain from bringing kids. We want this event to be a time for all attending to relax and enjoy the night! Thank you so much for your understanding!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

During the end of August, expect warm days with slightly chilly evenings. Please keep this in mind when planning attire! Average temperatures: 82 high / 63 low Record temparatures: 99 high / 51 low

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Davis Lodge has a beautiful space indoors where most things will be set up (yes- the lodge has air conditioning!) We will also have a space outside of the lodge to enjoy the scenery of the lake, take pictures, and enjoy some outdoor games!

Where to stay? Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We do not have a specific hotel that we are working with. However, on our "Venue & Travel" page, we have information about local hotels as well as parking and directions!

Will there be any special diet options?

Answer

We want everyone to feel welcome and able to enjoy the food options provided. We will have a wide array of foods that accomodate most diet restrictions, but please reach out to the bride or groom with specific questions or concerns regarding food options!
