What else could we do if we want to make a vacation out of it?

Answer

If you have time, we highly encourage you to explore the area!! Want to see stunning ocean cliff views? Go to Carmel & Big Sur. Want to have fun in the city? Go to San Francisco. Want to drink lots of wine? Napa is only 2+ hours North, as is our favorite area next to it, Calistoga. Calistoga is smaller and less touristy with all the benefits of wine country. Love to ski? I'm sure you can find snow in Tahoe. Camping in the Redwoods or State Parks, hiking and exploring more of the coast, California has everything you can imagine close by.

What should I wear to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner will be a beautiful, elegant, sit down plated dinner indoors overlooking the ocean. No suit & tie required, but please look nice! For the ladies, this is a great time to wear your favorite heels.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal, with comfortable foot wear! You do not have to wear heels... We highly suggest comfortable shoes as the ceremony will take place on a grass lawn. There will be lots of dancing and a party to follow in the barn!

What clothes should I bring to wear in Santa Cruzt?

Answer

LAYERS!! It can be warm during the day, and very chilly and windy at night, as we are by the ocean. Bring bathing suits, shorts, pants, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, dresses, sweaters, and of course your wedding outfit!! Jackets for night time will be great as the evenings cool down.

Do we need a car?

Answer

You do not need a car. If you stay at or around the Dream Inn - everything is at your fingertips. Uber / Lyft is everywhere. Taxis are also available for those without a smart phone. However, you are more than welcome to rent a car, as there are so many sites to see.

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

We will be providing round-trip buses for guests to take from the Dream Inn to Roaring Camp and back. If you don't like buses, or need special accommodations, no need to fear. It's very easy to get to and only about 15 minutes from the beach. There are also plenty of Uber / Lyft or Taxis that can take you. You could even drive and park (if you aren't drinking)!

What if we want to stay somewhere not listed on your website?

Answer

You are more than welcomed to stay anywhere in Santa Cruz! Just be mindful of distance. Some areas are more questionable than others. Please don't hesitate to ask our opinion on locations or plans. Email: KelleyandSethJacobs@gmail.com to reach out with any questions!

When is the actual wedding?

Answer

We will be getting married at 3:30pm on Sunday April 26th, 2020. We suggest guests to arrive to Roaring Camp at 3:15pm to be seated and ready for the wedding ceremony.
