Maid of Honor
Emily and Kelley met on the first day of their first "real" jobs at Brian Communications. They immediately bonded over their matching Vera Bradley lunchboxes and that they both just moved to Manayunk. For the first few months, many people at their workplace actually confused Emily and Kelley for each other! Not only do they look similar, but they share many interests such as wine, home goods, and a passion for skincare products. They quickly became inseparable pals, helping each other with work and hanging out on weekends by exploring Philly, trying new restaurants and wine bars. Even after moving on to new places / career opportunities, Emily and Kelley have remained best friends. Emily - we are so excited to have you as a part of our day!
Maid of Honor
Jensen and Kelley first met through their sorority - Kappa Alpha Theta at Syracuse University. While studying abroad in London, Kelley somehow convinced Jensen to be her little sister even though they had never met in-person (and wouldn't until May of that year). Jensen actually met Sal in-person first, and the two become fast friends! Once Kelley returned to the States, Jensen and her became best friends and bonded over their shared love of sports, public relations, macaroni and cheese, and dogs. The two have remained close and have had many fun post-grad adventures together such as trying great restaurants and bars in NYC, touring Connecticut wineries, and swapping dog mom advice. Jensen - you have been with us from the beginning and we can't wait to celebrate this exciting day with you!
Bridesmaid
Shelby is Kelley's sister (in-law) and the two first met when Kelley's older brother Shane started dating Shelby. Kelley loved Shelby from the beginning because she was an instant big sister to Kelley, inviting her over for home cooked meals in Syracuse when Kelley still lived in the dorms, and going on fun mall trips. Shelby and Kelley continued their friendship when Kelley lived with Shane and Shelby one summer and Shelby guided her through NYC / the subway during Kelley's first summer internship at a big PR agency. Shelby and Kelley went on adventures to Broadway shows, Peanut Butter & Co., and of course being delayed by NJ Transit. They share a love of potatoes, dogs, fun manicures and feminism. Shelby - we're so lucky to have you as our big sister, we cant wait to celebrate with you!
Bridesmaid
Elaine is Kelley's soon-to-be sister-in-law, but they also happen to be best pals! Elaine and Kelley met when Kelley first came to visit Sal and his family on Long Island, and they quickly bonded over their shared love of makeup, beauty trends, scented candles, fashion and puppies. Elaine and Kelley have been to Beautycon together, gone Black Friday shopping, gone on countless coffee runs, and are always hanging out with each other during family holidays and events. The one thing they cannot bond over is that Elaine has a beautiful singing voice and Kelley does not. Elaine just became a Licensed Veterinary Technician and now receives frequent questions regarding her fur niece, Addie. Elaine - we're so lucky to have you as our little sister and cannot wait to celebrate this day with you!
Best Man
Adam and Sal grew up just a few towns apart on Long Island but didn't meet until they were classmates in the same Masters program. They bonded over a shared love of medicine, McFlurries and poker and spent the year doing virtually everything together. Now currently a medical student at Hofstra University, Adam's one step closer to becoming a doctor but still the inferior poker player (according to Sal).
Groomsman
Shane is Sal's soon-to-be brother in law. As Kelley's older brother (and also attorney) he was initially intimidating but he and Sal quickly became friends. A fantasy football guru, prolific reader, and Call of Duty enthusiast, Sal is so excited to gain Shane as an older brother.
Groomsman
Sam and Sal met on the first day of medical school and instantly became friends. Their shared interests include the medical school staples of practice questions and flashcard apps, and their favorite activity is getting chicken and waffles for breakfast and brainstorming massive education reform between sips of coffee.
Groomsman
Cole and Sal were Phi Delta Theta brothers at Syracuse. Despite being in completely different majors and Cole liking an inferior hockey team, they quickly became close friends. The pair was known for playing way too much NHL and being slightly above average at drinking games. Since graduating, Cole has been working in LA so Sal was thrilled to give him an excuse to come back East.
Officiant
Brianne and Kelley first met during freshman year as Newhouse students - sharing classes and quickly becoming friends. The two learned how to navigate Syracuse's party scene and sub-zero temperatures together, often with Kelley sleeping in a makeshift bed on the floor of Brianne's dorm after a night out! Come sophomore year, Kelley joined Brianne's sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta and then signed a sublease to live with Brianne and their other Theta sisters, Darcy, Kayley and Alexa during the fall of junior year. Sal lived in the house right next door, and Brianne actually became friends with him before Kelley did! Brianne has been an amazing friend to both Kelley and Sal throughout the years and they always have fun when she's around. Brianne, we are so excited for you to marry us!
