Kelley Hasselbach
Bride
Kelley has been working with children since the age of sixteen. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a teacher and actively pursued her career and degrees in education. Kelley holds a dual Masters degree in Childhood/Special Education as well as four New York State certifications in Early Childhood/Childhood (B-2/1-6) and Students with Disabilities (B-2/1-6). Although she has worked with kids from six weeks through middle school, she has found that her true passion is with the younger kids. As an Assistant Director, she gets to spend time in all the classrooms throughout the day. In her spare time, she loves working on different crafts using her cricut machines. She has completed many amazing projects, including several displayed at this wedding.
Christopher Nobes

Chris is a man with many roles. He bleeds Blue and White after graduating from Penn State with a BS in Biology. Chris got an MBA from Union College in Health Systems Management leading to several jobs in the Healthcare field including his current position at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Chris has also been a volunteer Firefighter for 30 years, beginning as a Junior with AB Shaw Fire Company in Claverack NY. Chris joined Niskayuna Fire District 2 in 2004 upon moving to the town. He served as Chief from 2017-2020, following in the footsteps of several of his relatives, who were paid Firefighters in VT His most important role is Father to his 16 year old daughter Emma. They enjoy Star Wars, Marvel, mini golf and cooking together.

From working together in daycare with many laughs, teaching the kiddos about boy bands, dressing up for Halloween, and many other great memories to being roommates where we continued to laugh, breaking bottles of wine on the floor, and making even more memories. This girl has been there through the good times and the bad times. I can't imagine sharing this special day without my best friend by my side!
Trevor Rueckert
Best Man
Trevor and I have been friends since 1997, when we met at Union College. We worked on many college projects together and remained close after graduating. We have become brothers, sharing both good and bad times together. From attending various sporting events to the loss of family, we have always been there for each other. I could not ask for a better Best Man.
Emma Nobes

Emma is Chris' 16 year old daughter. She is a Junior at Niskayuna High School. Emma is starting to narrow down her choices regarding her college studies. Emma is a very empathetic person and is therefore thinking of careers in Human Services, including Social Work, Psychology, Education, Occupational or Music Therapy. Emma is very passionate about music and sings in 3 Choirs in school. Music will always be a big part of Emma's life.
Chris Tocin

Three years ago brought me new neighbors in Niskayuna. New neighbors can be a crap shoot, but it was clear to see that Emma and I hit the jackpot with Chris, Molly and their family. They quickly became part of our family, and us part of theirs...Emma more than me. But I am blessed to have them serve as such good role models for Emma. Chris and I spend a lot of time together watching sports, working out and capping the night off with some bourbon.
Terressa Mannix

They say cousins are the first friends you have and this couldn't be a more true statement. I'm lucky to not only call Terressa family but also one of closest and dearest friends! We have spent many summers together in one of our favorite places, Saranac Lake, where we have floated on inflatable hot dogs while drinking greenies and enjoyed many trips to Donnelly's. She is a real estate agent extraordinaire as well as an incredible singer and an amazing mom!
Todd VanBuskirk

Todd is my cousin from Florida. We were close when we were kids, but have become closer as adults. We have vacationed several times together with our children, including Disney and Ft Lauderdale. Todd and I have always checked up on each other and have had many beers for the other. We may be far apart but we are always close to each other.
Gabby McMiller

Gabby is an amazing mom to three awesome kids. She loves books by Agatha Christie, especially those with Hercule Poirot. Gabby always finds a way to keep all of us on our toes and laughing! From our crazy family parties (someone dressed as a bunny) to an amazing cruise vacation in the Bahamas, where we got to hold a starfish in the ocean, to getting matching starfish tattoos, and now a special day with you standing by my side!
Andrew Hasselbach

Andrew is Kelley’s younger brother. He loves a good IPA and is a master carpenter with a local theater. He is an outstanding father to three boys, who keep him on his toes at all times and extremely busy. We have been through many life changing events together but I am incredibly proud of the person Andrew has become and couldn't imagine what my life would have been like without him in it.

Chloe is one of the strongest (not only physically but emotionally) people we know. She loves everything Marvel, Dungeons & Dragons, and some Star Wars. She is smart, funny, and extremely caring of people and animals. When Chloe grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian.

Kelley’s oldest nephew who made her an Aunt for the first time. Although he may be quietest of the three boys, he is incredibly polite and loving. If you see him wearing a gold suit, it’s because it is his favorite color. When Kilyan grows up, he would like to be a game designer.
Skylar Rose

Skylar Rose is just like her mother...incredibly outgoing but also very loving. She loves to play with friends, watch Fuller House, and Vivo. When Skylar grows up, she wants to be a doctor.

Kelley’s middle nephew who is extremely outgoing. He is always keeping us on our toes and making us laugh. He has a love for Batman and may possibly be wearing a cape. When Ruary grows up, he would like to be a rock climber.

Layne is a people person. She loves being around her family and friends and always finds a way to make them laugh. She loves everything Star Wars and enjoys Marvel. When Layne grows up, she would like to do something in the medical field.
Mallex Hasselbach

The youngest of Kelley’s nephews who is a mix of his two brothers; quiet at first then smiley and playful. Boy of few words but lots of energy. When Mallex grows up, he would like to be a comedian.
Juliana Diehl
Flower Girl
Juliana is Chris' great niece who loves playing with her black lab Remmie. She loves everything and anything that has to do with Frozen. Juliana enjoys playgrounds, especially slides, and hiking. She is looking forward to being a big sister. She also finds fire trucks and firemen fascinating and may want to be one when she grows up.
