Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. If you are in a high-risk group or are not comfortable attending the wedding, we completely understand. Also, if you are sick, running a fever, or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home. We will follow guidelines that are set by the governor. Please make sure that we have the best way to get in touch with you if we have to change our plans, and check out website for any important updates. When you arrive, you will have the opportunity to select a wristband that will indicate how you wish to be approached (green--okay with hugs and high-fives, yellow--okay with talking but not touching, red--keeping my distance). Additionally, a greeter or host will take your temperature upon arrival to the ceremony. Doorknobs and other high-touch areas will be wiped down every 30 minutes during the reception. There will also be sanitizer stations.
UPDATE: On November 10, 2020, Governor Kim Reynolds issued a new proclamation that states for indoor events that have more than 25 people in attendance, everyone over age 2 will be required to wear face masks (except while eating). There are exceptions for religious events, which will allow Joel, Sarah, the officiants, and musicians to not wear a mask while performing duties. However, other than that, you will be required to wear a mask while in the church or lodge. You will be encouraged but not required to wear a mask when you are outdoors.
Yes! If you cannot attend our ceremony, but would like to celebrate with us virtually, you can watch our ceremony here: https://boxcast.tv/view/wedding-of-joel-and-sarah-dcamp-540479. (Please note that the ceremony is the only event that will be live-streamed.)
Although we would love for everyone who wants to bring a date be able to do so, we feel that during this pandemic we need to limit our numbers to invited guests only. Therefore, we ask that only the people invited attend the wedding. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but would like to thank you for your cooperation in this.
Yes, kids are welcome.

Please see the "travel" tab for current information.
Since sending out our invitations, the name of the park has been changed from "Squaw Creek Park" to "Wanatee Park." We haven't looked to see if signage has changed yet, but don't be alarmed if it has. The address of the lodge is still the same.
Because of COVID, we have decided against having a traditional receiving line.
We ask that you not take pictures during our ceremony (including the processional and recessional). If you want to take pictures before the ceremony, during the social hour, or at the reception, that would be fine.
We have registered at Menards and on Zola.
You will be able to park your car in the parking lots at the church and reception site.
There is not transportation between the hotel and the ceremony. Although there is plenty of parking, we recommend carpooling.
There is a welcome party (meet and greet) on Friday night. This is a casual social event at one of the hotels. Although this event is geared towards out of town guests, we'd be happy to see anyone who wishes to stop by.
