Maid of Honor
Kristi has been Addie's best friend since college - though they never attended the same one. She is the strength in this relationship, being the one by Addie's side through all the highs and lows for the last 13 years. Kristi instantly loved Max, bonding over their cooking skills (something Addie sorely lacks) and their similar taste in cocktails and music. She is better at hosting events than any human should be, so obviously she had to lead this team of beautiful ladies who will join Addie as she walks down the aisle to the man of her dreams.
Sam Kellerman
Best Man
"Samo", "Bones", "Sam Bones", "Dallaz", "Kellermundo Santos", "Sugarman" a.k.a. Sam Kellerman, is Max's younger brother and lifelong partner in crime. Sam, Max, and older sister Laina, were born only a few years apart so all three grew up close together and shared the many great experiences of being a kid in Santa Cruz County. Sam is the life of the party. A natural entertainer, Addie and Max enjoy seeing Sam play the drums for The Coffis Brothers on what seems like a monthly basis. Max is awed by the depths of Sam's talent and level of dedication to working towards personal goals.
Alyssa Maitoza
Maid of Honor
Without Alyssa, this wedding wouldn't be happening. Addie's best friend since their grad school orientation dinner, Alyssa grew up and went to high school with Max. It took her a few years, but once she realized Addie and Max would be perfect for each other, she planted her seeds, urged them to give it a shot, and what can they say? She was right. Alyssa is an endless source of laughter and joy for her friends. Addie and Max are forever grateful to her for being the spark that led to today; out of all the things the three of them have done together, this is their favorite.
Matt Ocampo
Groomsman
Matt and Max have been friends since kindergarten, as seen in the picture above. They graduated college and both decided to dedicate themselves to starting careers in the wine industry. After several, toiling vintages of stacking barrels, pruning vines, driving tractors, and lots of other manual labor, each landed entry level customer service jobs. They have since risen to the managerial level for two of the largest wine companies in California. Matt and his fiancée, Kaila, are one of Addie and Max's favorite double date partners.
Monique Medeiros
Bridesmaid
Monique has been filling Addie's life with smiles for 13 years. Whether they're making pizza from scratch, riding jumping jellyfish, or sharing their "enthusiasm" [read: obsession] for school supplies and organization, there is never a brighter ray of light in any group. In recent years, the two have enjoyed many more visits, especially ones taking place at wineries, as she and her boyfriend (and another one of Addie's and Max's favorite people), Tramaine, have become one of their favorite double date buddies. Wouldn't trade this one for the world...not even if there was a fire.
Will Startz
Groomsman
Will is Max's roommate from college at Loyola University Chicago. He was Max's family in a big city halfway across the country from home. Will is a trivia genius, rock guitar player, and a proud Texan. One of the great honors of Max's life was to be included as Will's groomsman, make a speech at his wedding, and be given a shout out in Will's vows. At their wedding, Will and his wife, Liz, told Max they approved of his new girlfriend, Addie. Will still lives in Chicago with Liz and their dog, Pita. Liz, Will, and Max all text regularly. Mostly about good food, good drink, and how much they miss each other.
Paige Silva
Bridesmaid
Bonding over their love of - what else - NSYNC, Paige and Addie go all the way back to middle school when they were both waaaay more awkward. She, along with Stacey, Brittani, and Lauren, have been best friends for nearly two decades, supporting each other through milestones from across the country. Affectionately known to each other as Chocolate and Vanilla Bear (any Scrubs fans out there?), there are few people who can make these two laugh the way they do for each other. Addie was proud to stand by Paige in 2017 when she married her husband, Vince, and is excited to reverse the roles.
Tom Matthews
Groomsman
Tommy and Max went to high school together and became close friends through the soccer team and school band. Sophomore year they began ditching class together so they could spend extra time learning and writing songs. The night they graduated from high school, barely two years later, their band The Skaflaws opened for The English Beat at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. They would play the Catalyst together over 30 more times, as well as many other venues in California, for the next nine years. Max believes he and Tommy have their own language.
Lupe Byars
Bridesmaid
Lupe became Addie’s sister-in-law on September 6th during a beautiful ceremony on the beach in Santa Barbara. Addie was so proud watching on as Logan and Lupe became husband and wife and thrilled to be there for her as a bridesmaid. Having met each other at Addie’s Masters graduation in 2013, Addie has enjoyed watching Lupe grow over the years. Her determination and work ethic are two things Addie has often admired, achieving every goal she sets for herself. Lupe is also one of the few other people in the world who knows the level of patience it takes to live with Logan. (Just kidding Lolo… love you!)
Logan Byars
Groomsman
Logan is Max's new brother-in-law. He also is Max's semi-regular adversary in chess, one of many hobbies that Max enjoys, but is not particularly good at. Logan and Max share a love for music and a hatred for The Dodgers. Logan has a quick wit, which is an endless source of entertainment for Addie and Max. Max was honored to be one of Logan's groomsmen in his wedding to Lupe six weeks prior to Addie and Max's wedding. They set a beautiful example to live up to.
Laina White
Bridesmaid
Laina is Addie’s future sister-in-law. The time the two have spent together has been primarily in swimsuits with a cocktail nearby, whether in Northern California or on a fantastic family trip to Hawaii – complete with several visits to the “Hot Lava Hot Lava” Club. When not enjoying the water, they can otherwise be found surrounded by toys with markers in hand as Laina’s children, Mikey and Hailey, are Addie’s frequent playmates on family vacations.
Mike White
Groomsman
Mike is Max’s brother-in-law. Max idolized Mike long before Mike married his sister, Laina, because of his tremendous talent and attitude as the lead singer of the successful local punk band, Ambivalence. Mike is Max’s older brother who guided him through hard times and has shown him how to be a good husband. The last time Max and Mike were in a bridal party together, it was Mike and Laina’s wedding nine years ago.
