Question

What about Masks, Vaccines, and COVID Tests?

Answer

Please see our "Health & Safety" page Documentation must be provided by all guests before arriving at the venue. If you will be flying and are unvaccinated you will need to get tested once you arrive in Seattle.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are fortunate to both to have large families and many close friends. Due to the pandemic we had to shrink our guestlist by half. We wish everyone could have a plus one! However since we are limited on space, we have given priority to plus ones that we have known personally for over a year. Plus one spots will be shown when you RSVP. If you think there has been a mistake, please email Sarah at sschirem@gmail.com.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There is a small jungle gym on-site and sports courts. Please note that the venue is surrounded by dense forest and there is direct access to the Green River. We ask that you keep a close eye on your children for their safety since no childcare or supervision will be provided.

Are pets welcome?

Answer

We love all of our furry friends - but please do not bring them to the venue.

What food/drinks will be provided?

Answer

Friday: S'mores and hot beverages will be available in the evening. Saturday: Snacks, dinner, and drinks provided in the afternoon and evening. Sunday: Coffee, tea and breakfast bites will be served in the morning. Please be sure to pack food and beverages for additional meals if camping at the venue.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Please wear Cocktail Attire for the Ceremony and Reception (Dresses or dressy jumpsuits; slacks and shirts) All other events will be casual attire. This is an outdoor venue. We will have a fire pit and heat lamps but please bring a warm jacket, throw, or fur. The terrain varies throughout the venue (cement, gravel, grass). We suggest shoes with a flat bottom, wedges, or a block heel.

What is there to do?

Answer

- At Shangri-la on the Green - Lawn games, a fire pit, sports courts, fishing access, and hang out areas will be available throughout the weekend. There will be a a jungle gym and an activities tent for children. - Nearby - Restaurants, shopping, and hotels can be found in Enumclaw (~12 minute drive - take a LEFT out of the venue onto Franklin Road SE) Hiking Trails: Green River Gorge Resort - Waterfall Trail Franklin Ghost Town Trail Green River State Park Conservation Area

Can I bring my own games, flow toys, and activities?

Is there a Shuttle between the Hotel and the Venue?

Answer

As of right now we do not have a shuttle service reserved. Please have a designated driver if you are not staying on site.
