Ceremony

The ceremony site requires a short walk on natural terrain from the parking lot - spike heels are not recommended! Please wear swanky casual clothing that you won't mind getting a little nature (or weather) on. We will be walking down the aisle rain, shine, or (more likely) fog—so be prepared with your attire.
Ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm - please arrive 30 minutes early to park, walk to the ceremony site, and enjoy the redwoods! The old growth redwoods in Santa Cruz are known as Ancient Coast Redwoods. We look forward to saying our vows in the company of these beautiful ancient giants.
Reception

The best part – the party! Our Reception will be held at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, on the coastal bluffs of UC Santa Cruz’s Long Marine Laboratory. Please join us for touch tanks, marine science exhibits, Oaxacan food, and dancing for a fun evening of celebration! Parking is free at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center on the weekends! The gate to the center will be open for Uber or Lyft rides if you would like to schedule one after the event ends at 10 PM.
