Kellan and Ari met online through a video game they had both loved since childhood. Introduced by a mutual friend, they clicked right away and quickly grew close, spending countless hours talking on FaceTime. Eventually, they decided it was time to meet in person. Kellan flew to Appleton, Wisconsin, where Ariana met him at the local airport—both nervous and excited. The moment they saw each other, it just felt right. Kellan spent the week with Ari and her family, and a month later, she traveled to Berryville, Virginia, to meet his. From that point on, the rest was history!

Right after Christmas, Kellan and Ari took a trip to New York City with the Daltons. They did all the classic holiday things—saw the Rockefeller tree, caught the Rockettes, rode the subway for the first time (and got totally lost), and visited the 9/11 Museum and the Oculus. Later that evening, they walked through Central Park just as the sun had set. That’s when Kellan got down on one knee and asked Ariana to marry him. Right after she said yes, they were surprised with a horse-drawn carriage ride around the park. It was romantic, magical, and honestly just so much fun. The night ended with the group heading to a cozy restaurant for drinks, pasta and tiramisu!
